Bamboo-zled
We’ve had a rather dry year. In October (the last time I was at the venue before last week), the bamboo at our venue was a lush, verdant green. Now it is looking rather…dry [said in Ben Stein's voice].
Honestly, it’s so tall that most won’t notice the dead scragglies at the top. Plus, people in other parts of the state have much more to worry about due to this dryness.

when you wrote that the bamboo are rather tall, i immediately thought “maybe a scaled figure would help in this photo?” crap. i am your archi-nerd friend. but yes, no worries about the browning bamboo. the attention will be on you and the groom getting married, not the surroundings. ^_^
